the pics are links to bigger pics; some of them have links to bigger files; don't forget to CARE (PO Box 13187, Philadelphia PA 19101-9213) and Save the Children (PO Box 9160, Chelsea, MA 02150-9851). you can use money orders and avoid getting on mailing lists. The five pics i first posted at nashvill.htm are probably better than these.
what a drag i wasn't high enough to get Bob's boots. the pic I used for the background on this page wasn't a very pleasing composition so i selected Bob and made a new layer and did a ripple effect on the background in paint shop p 7.   larger file (not suitable
for 8x10 probly) here
Bob was cutting the rug in the photo to the left; Larry wasn't the only one getting a kick out of it I assure you. Not my best focus, but here's a bigger file just for fun.
just havin' fun folks...though it isn't good quality it's a pleasure to see how much Bob appears to be enjoying this moment
like the rather dramatic light in the one just below; actually i lowered the light on Larry a little and cropped it too. apologies to the band...and thanks too!

what's the line about seeing heaven
in a wild flower? here

the b&w to the left was an accident while changing flash cards and very unfocused, but Bob has a great smile so I'm posting it. (during RDW i believe)
i guess this is kind of my salute to David Kemper who was bummed by Bob making him set up to the left (for my photos) so he set the high hat where i couldn't photograph him. right David?

***************************
this marks the demarcation line of no more Bob pictures; sorry... *************************** fans to the left of me I suspected of being rmder's so i was very careful what i said :-); this was before Blues Traveler played i think. *******************
the David Henderson Group (on the left) were delightful company; 'sup?

my (first) big breakfast for a big day

on like May 3 i got a spam link to citysearch.com and checked Nashville yellow pages and found a campground closer to town; kizmet i decided. well, it was locked about 11:30 pm Friday, so i drove 1/4 mile and found a parking lot to a fitness trail and thought it fitting i carry my sleeping bag up the trail and crash.   well, this was the scene
on I-40 E Saturday
about noon; dead stop
and a little touch of
nervous, not knowing
what exit i needed etc.

          the Natchez Trace on
the way back down
south found me at a
dead stop too.
my car doesn't like the interstates these days (headed for the state park i posted on rmd for Saturday night), so i aimed for an early sign off I-40 east, got wrong directions, and quickly discovered this boat ramp...perfect for my budget and the weather didn't require i pitch my tent...   maybe somebody can explain how the Tennessee River can be in Alabama?

didn't stop for this but did
think i'd prefer a picture of
a jones county mis'sippi
sheriff's car. if i had set my
focus on infinity for this (and
the rear-view mirror shots) i
would have gotten much
better pictures.
  well, here's one of those
Sheriff's cars right here

oops, one more Bob pic...put a light chrome effect on background of this shot from other page of images; made a neat 8x10 from a file only 2% less compressed than this file here...   Thanks a million Bob (and Bob fans) and band, for another beyond belief experience. Adios and "may God bless and keep you always..."
