a (mostly) Bob Dylan picture place

if you click on the image at the left you go to an image just like it, only a lot bigger. I hear this was taken at the Savoy Hotel in London in '65 or '66 I don't recall which. And maybe neither year is right. Time is maya ya know. Illusion. Oh yeah, lots of the pictures on this site are large enough that a dial-up connection might need to refresh the page even several times for the whole image to load in the browser.

I've read that Bob said in the '70s he didn't like photos, that they make ghosts out of people. I hope he's changed his mind about that. If I hear something definitive I'll take these down.

There's quite a few pics of Bob Dylan and his band at the Nashville River Fest May 5, 2001 concert right here

this links to a bigger picture too. this collage is from the Emmy awards; a kind person on rec.music.dylan put it together and posted it; i just kind of appropriated it; i think Bob was more pleased with the Oscar later in the year.

there's a page here with art for a compilation i made in 2000 for non-Dylanfanatics that i called Now & Then because disk one has songs from like the last few years and disk two has songs from like decades ago.

put an image with nashville november '01 tics right @ images/tickets.jpg

here's a montage(?) of a surprise package (who cares if it's a loaner?) with Genuine Live '66 in it.

put up a rodeo poster as an homage to John Prine. (the pic at the top looks pretty cool at 800x600 fullscreen in IE [F11])

page of the November 3, 2001 Nashville concert right here. What a tour! Bob rulz!!

here are some shots of ENVY, out of Meridian MS (web site @ http://www.angelfire.com/rock3/envy0/index.html ) who rocked out at Tal's Music Emporium in Hattiesburg, MS November 30.

put up a shot mostly for(nope: to hit on) Amy Carol Webb (http://amycarolwebb.com worked for me) here but the band pictured here is Morning 40 Federation out of New Orleans. these guys play lots of original stuff, have a unique style, are all talented, play great together, put on a good show, sound BIG, and i hope they hit the proverbial big tim.
